QIGONG, MINDFULNESS AND WELLNESS IN THE MINERVOIS
QIGONG, MINDFULNESS AND WELLNESS IN THE MINERVOIS
Vital Energy Living offers simple, practical and grounded ways to support wellbeing in body, mind and everyday life, through qigong, mindfulness and one-to-one support.
I'm Kalba Meadows, and I've created Vital Energy Living to share some of the simple yet amazing tools and practices that have changed my life over more than 40 years - and continue to change it today.
All sessions are offered in English and through a non-profit association - there is no formal charge, even for one to one work, but for those who are able, a donation is appreciated to help fund the sessions and the association.
What we offer
Drop-in qigong sessions in the park in Siran (and sometimes in Olonzac and at the Lac de Jouarres)
Small-group qigong courses exploring different themes (sleep, vitality, joint health, stress, longevity and more)
Mindfulness and meditation afternoons and short courses
Individual accompaniment for mindful ageing, life transitions and personal wellbeing in difficult situations
Occasional half-day and day retreats
Who is it for?
Anyone! You don't need experience, a particular body or background or skills. You don't need to be flexible or spiritual.
Simply come as you are, with your curiosity and willingness to slow down together. In that slowing down, you may find that gentle miracles can happen - a sense of reconnecting with your own vital energy, the gradual release of tension, a sense of settling and coming home to yourself.
Qigong is usually practised standing, but can also be done seated - this works best in the small-group indoor sessions. Mindfulness is usually practised sitting, but can also (sometimes, and optionally) include standing and walking practices.
QIGONG - stillness in movement
Qigong is rooted in an ancient Chinese practice that combines slow, intentional, flowing movements with conscious breathing and focused awareness, in order to harmonise your body's vital energy, known as qi.
MINDFULNESS - movement in stillness
Mindfulness is simply coming into the present moment - this moment, and the next, and the next. We use the body and the breath to help us do this and to become of aware of the current of life energy that runs deep within us.
